La villia guilia is located on the outer edge of the central city. It was the home to Pope Julius III and is now currently a museum.
It is very peaceful and quiet, in contrast to the noisy city that surrounds it.
This is michelangelo's plazza the campodoglio. It is an amazing space and my favorite by far so far.
The Roman Forum is located in the back of the plazza and has a direct view to the cupola of san pietro. The political intentions of this space was to connect anciet rome to the new catholic rome through symplism and architecture.
